If Human Design was a Venn Diagram

So, what is Human Design?

That really depends who you ask, and how it personally resonates for them. And as I’m a Reflector, my explanation will subtly shift based on who I’m talking to, and the words I sense will be most useful for them in the moment (shout out to my undefined throat centre).

I’ll be exploring some of these definitions, beginning with a core concept: HD is the place where science and spirituality meet.

Let’s dive into some of the foundations that underpin this notion. HD is a master system that combines many others - the ancient and esoteric; the modern and theoretical. When you layer these traditional wisdom modalities with scientific principles, there are pathways that blaze like fairy lights, linking them together.

It feels both impossible, yet obvious at the same time. Human DNA has 64 codons. The I Ching, the ancient Chinese divination text known as the Book of Changes, has 64 hexagrams. Human Design has 64 gates. There’s a reason certain numbers appear over and over in nature, just like there’s a reason our gut reaction tends to never miss the mark.

It’s a lot for us to wrap our minds around, and, truthfully, we don’t really need to know this to experience Human Design. But if there’s an excuse to make a Venn diagram, best believe I’ll be taking it 😉
